The second edition of the TopWine event, held in Barcelona during several tasting days, has been awarded … drum roll: Triple medal for Bodega Sierra Norte! Gold for Pasión de Bobal red and Pasión de Moscatel, and silver for Pasión de Bobal rosé.

Of the references presented, 573 in this edition, have been awarded a total of 193 wines, which have exceeded the 83 minimum points required.

Pasión de Bobal 2016 and Pasión de Moscatel 2017, to get the gold medal, have obtained between 89 and 93 points. Pasión de Bobal rosé 2017, with the distinction of silver, is included in the wines scored between 83 and 88 points.

Pasión de Bobal is one of our most recognized wines: a red wine with 6 months of barrel, made only with 100% Bobal grapes from old vineyards over 60 years old, with a very tasty, fruity, spherical tannins, good acidity and light touches of vanilla, smoke and toast. A wine with a claw inside its balance.

Pasión de Moscatel, made with 100% muscatel grape, is a white wine with floral and fruity notes of apricot and green apple. Cultivated in vineyards of 25 years, in soil rich in limestone with permeable textures at 700 meters of altitude. Aging on its fine lees until bottling. A wine of great persistence in the mouth.

Pasión de Bobal rosé is the combination of a meticulous selection of the best clusters, collected in the highest level plot of our Valencian vineyards. Made with 100% bobal grape, it takes a bright light pink color, touches of red fruit and subtle memory of rose petals. Its fresh acidity makes it an agile and lively wine.
